Viter is growing rapidly, and the expansion of the factory in Itapeva, SP, is proof of our commitment to innovation and the quality of our products. As the largest unit producing agricultural inputs, the factory underwent a significant increase in production capacity, adding more equipment and increasing limestone production by 260 thousand tons. As a result, total production capacity now reaches a maximum of 560 thousand tons.
Today, the Viter factory in Itapeva has a total capacity of 300 thousand tons of ITAÚ Limestone, 160 thousand tons for the production of Optmix (industrialized mixture of agricultural limestone + gypsum) and 100 thousand tons for the production of oxides, such as Calfértil.
This expansion was strategically designed to meet the growing market demand for high-quality products, as the unit stands out not only for its production volume, but also for the technology used. Modern equipment, such as ball mills used for the production of ITAÚ Fyller Limestone, guarantee an extremely fine product, an important requirement for products with high reactivity and effectiveness in the field. Furthermore, the Itapeva factory has a robust structure for the preparation and delivery of products, facilitating flow and access for transporting goods and receiving vehicles for collection.
Viter's commitment to innovation and efficiency
Knowing the need to promote more sustainable and productive agriculture, we have invested heavily in expanding our factories and our portfolio of products produced and sold, always with the aim of bringing innovative technologies to agricultural producers that increase efficiency and speed in correction. and soil nutrition.
Among the highlights are Calfértil, a highly reactive oxide that stands out for its easy application and immediate effect, and Optmix, a mixture of limestone and agricultural gypsum that provides calcium, magnesium and sulfur, optimizing the soil in a single application. Furthermore, Viter is a leader in the production and distribution of ITAÚ Limestone, the most used throughout the country.
But Viter's innovations are not limited to the soil. One example of this is Sungard, a leaf and fruit sunscreen that can be applied through foliar spraying. Sungard provides thermal comfort to crops, reducing plant stress caused by high temperatures and reducing leaf temperature. This technology is a great ally in preventing losses in productivity planned by farmers.
Strategic distribution for national reach
Today, Viter has nine factories spread across Brazil, ensuring efficient supply in several regions. In the North and Central-West, operations are located in Xambioá (TO), Nobres (MT) and Sobradinho (DF). The Southeast region is served by units in Itapeva (SP), Salto de Pirapora (SP), Itaú de Minas (MG) and Pratápolis (MG). In the South, the operations in Rio Branco do Sul (PR) and Itaperuçu (PR) complete the production network.
